Cookies and similar storage are small pieces of information saved by your browser. Dating40Over keeps their use to a minimum.

What we use

  • Keeping you signed in (strictly necessary) — your browser stores a secure sign-in token so you stay signed in between pages. It's removed when you sign out.
  • Payments (strictly necessary) — when you buy Premium, our payment provider Stripe sets cookies to process the payment securely and prevent fraud.
  • Sign in with Google or Apple (strictly necessary) — if you choose this, those companies set their own cookies during sign-in.

What we don't use

We don't use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or cookies that follow you around other websites. [If analytics are added later, this policy will be updated and we'll ask for your consent first.]

Why there's no cookie banner

UK law (the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations) lets websites use strictly necessary cookies without asking first. As we only use these, we don't show a consent banner.

Controlling cookies

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the essential ones, you won't be able to sign in or pay.

More about how we handle your data is in our privacy notice.
